How To Be Saved?
It is not the desire of our creator that anyone should die. We believe that God offered His son, Jesus as a sin offering so that we would have an eternal, peaceful and joyful life. Understanding that through SALVATION God is not a GUARANTEE from trouble, however, He is a GUARANTEE in the time of TROUBLE. SALVATION is quite simply: Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised is son, Jesus, from the grave then you are SAVED!
Here are seven 7 steps to help you understand and strengthen your walk of faith.
1. Recognize you are a sinner.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
2. Realize no one is good enough.
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
3. Remember that God loves you.
But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
4. Receive God’s Gift.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
It is by grace you are saved through faith; and not of yourself: it is the gift of God.
5. Repent of your sins.
The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent, and believe the gospel.
6. Required Action.
A – Acknowledge: If we confess our sin, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
I John 1:9
B – Believe: Believe in your heart that God has raised Christ from the dead,
C – Confess: If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus,
7. Results – Salvation
Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under the heavens given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Your confession of faith is only the beginning of a Christian walk, which ultimately becomes a way of life. You must pray, study the word of God, which is the Bible and connect in fellowship with other Christians. Doing this will enable you to see and feel God’s strength and guidance.
